Datsun GO-Cross to make debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo
MANILA: Nissan's partner car brand, Datsun is set to showcase its GO-Cross at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Datsun is ready to stretch its legs in the sub-continent with the launch of Datsun GO-Cross. The Company aims to offer low-cost comfortable vehicle to the masses and bring out more updated technology based cars as per the demands.

The Datsun GO-Cross has been manufactured on the platform carried by the GO+. It was first launched at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show and ended up with getting lots of attention during the Show. The design styling also remains close enough to the GO+ as they belong to the same family.
The Company might bring the 5-seater and 7-seater variant of the vehicle but for now, only the 5-seater variant will be launched and the 7-seater will be seen later on. The GO-Cross duo is likely to be priced higher in comparison to the GO and GO+. Besides, Looking into GO-Cross, Datsun is also interested in manufacturing entry-level hatchback that would be based on CMF-A Platform, A Nissan-Renault Joint Alliance.

The Datsun GO-Cross specs are yet to be revealed but the new Car is likely to come powered by the 1.5 dCi diesel, which can also be seen on Nissan-Renault cars like Terrano and Duster. However, it is possible that Datsun might assemble a brand new engine type into the Datsun GO-Cross.
