DFSK launches 3 NEV offerings under QSJ Motor PH

MANILA: DFSK has launched its three new energy vehicle (NEV) offerings in the market under QSJ Motor Philippines.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What are the three new DFSK offerings in the Philippines?

The brand's newly-launched models were the E5 PHEV, Candy Mini EV, and EC75.
  • What are the prices of the newly-revealed DFSK models locally?

The DFSK E5 plug-in hybrid's variants were priced P1.58 million and P1.88 million; the Candy Mini EV, P658,000; and the EC75, P1.45 million.
  • Designed to meet the diverse needs of Filipino modern drivers while promoting eco-friendliness, the newly-revealed models are made up of the DFSK E5 plug-in hybrid (PHEV), Candy mini electric vehicle (EV), and EC75 commercial van.

    E5 PHEV

The DFSK E5 PHEV is a seven-seater sport utility vehicle that measures 4,760 millimeters (mm) long; 1,865 mm wide; and 1,710 mm tall with a 2,785-mm wheelbase.

Powering the vehicle is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine (which has the capacity to dish out 174 horses [hp> and 135 Newton-meters [Nm>) and a 130-kilowatt electric motor (that can deliver 174 hp and 300 Nm).

The electric mill comes with a 17.52-kilowatt-hour battery that lets the vehicle cover a range of 87 kilometers  (km). Combined, the powertrain set-up — per QSJ Motors — covers a range of more than 1,000 km.

Sending the power to the front wheels is the E-continuous variable transmission with wet-type multi-disk clutch.

Fitted inside the DFSK E5 PHEV’s cabin are two digital screens (seven-inch instrument gauge cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment system), heated and cooling front seats, up to 12-speaker set-up.
