European-market 2023 Mitsubishi Colt debuts as Renault-based hatchback
MANILA: The brand-new Colt compact hatchback was unveiled by Mitsubishi Motors Europe for the European market. As previously speculated, the 2023 Mitsubishi Colt could form the basis for the next-generation Mirage.

The vehicle will be produced at the Renault facility in Bursa, Turkey, and is expected to hit Mitsubishi Motors showrooms in Europe in October. For the first time in nine years, the brand-new Colt, the seventh generation to be released in Europe, will be reintroduced to the market.
The Mitsubishi Colt has a strong, sporty exterior that fits in perfectly in European cities. The front face has L-shaped LED daytime running lights below narrow, full LED headlamps on the upper half to create a strong expression that is reminiscent of Mitsubishi Motors' Dynamic Shield design concept. The rear bumper's emphasis on width gives the vehicle a stable yet nimble appearance.

Both a 1.0-liter gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.0-liter gasoline engine with a 5-speed manual transmission are available in the gasoline model.
At the center of the instrument panel in the premium cabin is a Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA). The driver can access the Multi-Sense system using a 7-inch or 9.3-inch touchscreen. This system enables customization of the driving experience, including the drive modes (My Sense, Sport, or Eco mode), engine and steering responsiveness, and ambient lighting. Furthermore, a fully immersive audio experience is possible while driving thanks to the Bose premium sound system. A variety of cutting-edge safety measures also help the driver drive securely and safely.
