Facelifted Daihatsu Terios/Toyota Rush breaks cover in Indonesia
MANILA: Just recently, the Daihatsu Terios makeover debuted in Indonesia. Of course, the Toyota Rush's sister vehicle is the Terios. The three-row, seven-seater MPV with SUV style originally appeared in Indonesia in late 2017, therefore the upgraded 2023 Toyota Rush may also receive this long overdue mid-life facelift.

The border between the upper and bottom grille portions, which was formerly a big bowl-shaped object, is now very distinct. The lower grille is also much more noticeable today.
The fog light surrounds have been re-profiled to sit at the edges of the face, combining the spherical fog lamps with vertical LED strips, along with the bumper. The facelift is completed with a large silver chin, which optically matches the side "stone guards." A red stripe is added to the upper grille of the top R Custom model, and a black plastic molding is added above the side silver accents.
The wheels are brand-new; the 17-inch dual-tone five-spoke wheels on the R Custom and the 17-inch gunmetal rims on the ADS package, which can be added to the base X and mid R models, respectively, are both available. Consider ADS to be a chrome wheel/trim package similar to Perodua's GearUp. The grey alloy wheels and checkered chrome grille make it simple to identify.
Inside, the 2023 Daihatsu Terios/Toyota Rush now has a black leather interior with dash/doors, headlining, and combo seats. A red stripe runs down the spine of the seats, and there is red stitching in numerous spots for a sporty appearance. The dash panel in front of the passenger and the door arm rests of the Custom now have soft padding. In addition to smartphone mirroring, the central armrest has wireless charging.
Six airbags have been added to the Indonesian Terios to increase safety. Stability Control was distributed across the range in a 2021 upgrade. There are now a total of six color options thanks to the addition of two new hues, Silver Metallic and Greenish Gun Metal.
A 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with Dual VVT-i continues to power the revised Terios, just like it does in the Rush. It has 104 PS and 136 Nm of torque and can be connected to either a 4-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual gearbox.
