Filipinos can Now Buy Morris Garages GT Sedan

MANILA: The MG 3, MG 5, and MG 350 are some MGs which are easily available in the country of Filipinos, but now what is new for them is the MG GT, a coupe-like sedan. With this the British brand, Morris Garages is targeting all the young buyers who desire to own a sports styled car without compromising on the comfort of a sedan.

Carrying the fancy and speedy vibe, the highlights of the exterior are the seamless combination of headlight and grille into single unit, the MG logo in the front centre, and the taillights that spread on the entire rear to match with the sleek flow of its design. The interiors are simple again on which a dark colour scheme dominates, and in the darkness glow the blue colour of an instrument panel. Some chrome and silver accents are scattered on the centre console to give it a heyday look.

For Filipinos, the MG GT sedan will be available with two power mills; one is 1.5-litre turbo which propels out 127 HP of power and 210 Nm of torque. Second is the 1.4-liter turbo which is again efficient to give 156 HP and 235 Nm. While the first is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the second comes in pair with seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Both these variants will come with start/stop intelligent energy saving system.

When comes to the prices, the 1.5-litre GT is priced at P 895,000 and the 1.4-litre variant would cost you P 995,000. The brand will formally present this model on July 28 in the Philippines and with this showcase, the British marque will surely take a step further in making its place strong in the Philippines market.
