Five F1 teams to participate in 2022 Festival of Speed
MANILA: Five Formula 1 teams have already announced their participation at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard on June 23 to 26. After an eventful start to the 2022 season, the teams will come to the Goodwood House in England to drive and exhibit some of their most legendary race cars. Guests will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness iconic cars from across the decades up and personal, as well as learn about the various breakthroughs that enabled significant improvements in performance.

Over the weekend, these teams will be accommodated in the Festival's F1 Pit Lane presented by Sky, providing a unique area shared by members of the public, drivers, and working engineers prepping their cars for laps up the Hill. According to Goodwood, they are pleased to be able to partake in what is a momentous year for Formula 1 and produce a spectacle showcasing the team's groundbreaking transformation over their many periods, in accordance with this year's theme honoring "The Innovators - Masterminds of Motorsport."
As the tradition of Formula 1 machinery heading to the hillclimb continues, fans can expect to witness a variety of legendary Formula 1 cars from various decades in action. In 2021, the Festival of Speed featured performances by the championship-winning Mercedes W10, as well as the McLaren combo of Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris, and 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button. The festival's rich history will be upgraded by the new line of exciting adventures this 2022.
