More than 5,000 second-generation Ford Territory units were sold in the Philippines. In a statement, the Blue Oval marque’s local arm said that the newest feat was completed after the model’s second-generation was able to breach the 5,000-example sales mark in the country since it was unveiled at the Manila International Auto Show last April.
“The Ford Territory is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most successful Ford vehicles sold in the Philippines. It is a global product of Ford that complements the needs and lifestyles of Filipino customers, so we are really happy that it continues to resonate in the market even after three years. We truly appreciate the support and patronage, and we look forward to seeing more Filipinos own every driving moment with the Next-Gen Territory,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen said.
Offered in Titanium and Titanium X options, the next-generation Ford Territory sports a commanding contemporary design, premium interiors, efficient performance, and advanced features.
Among the model’s notable details for the exterior are the eye-catching alloy wheel design (either 18- or 19 inches, depending on the trim) and the panoramic moonroof available on Titanium X.
Its cabin, on the other hand, is equipped with a 12-inch central touchscreen complemented with a digital instrument cluster (seven-inch for the Titanium, 12-inch on Titanium X).
Propelling the vehicle is the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine paired with seven-speed automatic transmission that has a wet-type dual-clutch engagement system.
The five-seater crossover is also fitted with numerous advanced driver-assistive technologies that include active park assist, 360-degree camera, and blind spot information system with rear cross-traffic alert — with the Titanium X option getting the additional adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function.
Both variants are packaged with a five-year warranty or up to 150,000 kilometers — whichever comes first.
Relatedly, the Blue Oval marque’s local distributor said that customers getting a next-generation Ford Territory in the closing quarter of 2023 can avail attractive deals from Ford dealers nationwide.
The vehicle can be checked out or test driven at the Ford Island Conquest happening at Ayala Malls Solenad in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on October 13-15 and SM City Pampanga in San Fernando, Pampanga on October 27-29. Customers who will reserve at the event may enjoy price cuts of up to P100,000.
