MANILA: Formula 1 has renewed its partnership with Lenovo, which has elevated the latter to Global Partner status.

Lenovo has been a partner of Formula 1 since 2022 with the title of Official Partner and has supported the motorsports organization with its on-site high-performance computing solutions, servers, and edge devices.
These include hardware such as laptops, workstations, desktop computers, monitors, and tablets, as well as Motorola smartphones.
Further, the technology firm has aimed to integrate smarter technology into the sport.
The world’s first kiss-activated trophies at the Formula 1 Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix 2023 and Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix 2023, along with this year’s laurel wreath design, elevated the podium celebrations and served as strong symbols of Lenovo’s drive for purposeful design and cutting-edge technology.

Lenovo’s Asset Recovery Service supports Formula 1’s sustainability strategy, alongside its efforts to reduce emissions and reach Net Zero by 2030.
The Chinese computer company’s recovery solution helps ensure that retired computing hardware is recycled in a socially and environmentally conscious manner and has sustainably disposed of 95 percent of obsolete hardware, which ultimately helps to reduce costs and mitigate security risks through reliable data destruction with enhanced security.
When it comes to the use of AI, Lenovo and Formula 1 have implemented Edge Compute AI technologies to improve operational efficiency during live race broadcasts.
