Foton PH awards 13-seater Transvan to Hidilyn Diaz

MANILA: Foton has announced that it has awarded a brand-new Transvan 13-seater to Hidilyn Diaz, the country's first Olympic gold medalist, after her historic win in the Women’s Weightlifting 55-kg class in Tokyo, Japan.

The recent triumph of Diaz marked the first time ever that the Philippines takes home a gold medal from the Olympic Games since it joined the prestigious international sporting event in 1924.
