Fuel price drops continue this week
Latest adjustment serves as 2nd consecutive slide seen in May 2024
MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines will continue to trim down prices of their products at the pump — the second consecutive drop seen for the month of May.

The movements in pricing will happen as early as 12:01 a.m. of May 6, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, PTT, Seaoil, and Unioil shall reduce the retail price of gasoline by P0.75 per liter and diesel by P0.90 per liter.
Aside from that, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall implement a P1.05-per-liter slash on kerosene.
The adjustments, which other companies are expected to similarly implement, shall be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow by some brands.
Last week, gasoline products went down by P0.25 per liter, diesel by P0.45 per liter, and kerosene by P0.90 per liter.
