GAC Emkoo to headline brand's presence in MIAS 2023

MANILA: On April 13, GAC Motor returns to the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023 with a display of its whole lineup of premium, technologically advanced automobiles for the Philippine market.

GAC Motor will enchant visitors with its exhibition of the adaptable and dependable GS4 small SUV, the roomy and incredibly comfortable GN6 MPV, and the recently introduced luxury and potent all-new GS8 SUV.

GAC Empow GE

As the GE version makes its first public appearance since its launch in January, fans of the GAC Empow are in for a treat. The top-tier GE model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, paddle shifters, power folding mirrors, and a full complement of cutting-edge safety and driving assistance technologies. Matte Warrior Green, a hue that represents The Empow will only be available in the GE variant.

GAC Emkoo

The Emkoo, the brand's newest and most technologically advanced SUV, will be the focal point of the GAC Motor booth and will be unveiled on the opening day of the MIAS. The 2023 GAC Emkoo is a sleek, five-seat small SUV with cutting-edge technology and a design that looks to the future, making it the best option for the modern generation. The Emkoo is the expression of GAC Motor's bold and futuristic new style for its worldwide SUVs, which is distinguished by the brand's innovative styling, high-efficiency drivetrains, and intelligent driving systems. It was first introduced in China in 2022.

GAC Motor will also be offering customers special deals during the four-day show as well as test drives of the GS4, GN6, GS8 and the Empow.

GAC Empow

The 2023 GAC Empow is the carmaker’s compact sedan contender featuring sleek styling and promises potent performance. The 2023 GAC Empow is offered in three variants.

The 2023 GAC Empow styling is highlighted by angular body shapes, 18-inch alloy wheels, quad exhausts and automatic LED headlights, and daytime running lights. As for key features, the Empow is equipped with a seven-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay, and multiple driving systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), and High Beam Assist.

Under the hood of the 2023 GAC Empow is the carmaker’s 1.5-liter turbo engine — with churns 168hp and 270Nm of torque — featuring the carmaker’s in-house MegaWave technology. The engine is mated to a seven-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission. Most notably, the sedan can sprint from zero to 100kph in 6.95 seconds — believed to be the fastest acceleration for a compact sedan in its segment.
