GAC Motor PH breaches 1000-unit sales milestone for 2023

MANILA: GAC Motor Philippines achieved another milestone after surpassing 1,000-unit milestone in total sales for 2023.

Based on the report from Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), the Chinese automaker's local arm achieved year-to-date sales of 1,017 examples as of last month.

"We are beyond thrilled to share yet another remarkable milestone for GAC. In a mere eight months, we have proudly welcomed over 1,000 delighted GAC owners across the nation. Our optimism and determination are stronger than ever as we set our sights on breaking the 2,000 mark by year-end. This achievement stands as a testament to the trust our customers place in our brand and the invaluable support from our dealer partners, all of which enhance the ownership experience," GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt stated.

Earlier this year, GAC Motor Philippines launched the GS8 seven-seater SUV and the all-new GS3 Emzoom which have been increasingly popular in the local market. Both vehicles exhibit the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.

Four new dealers were also appointed by GAC Motor this year.

"We are fully committed to accelerate our network growth across the country as this will enhance the accessibility of GAC and help ensure a convenient purchase and worry-free after-sales experience for all our customers wherever they may be," Decloedt added.

GAC Motor Philippines also recently further expanded its vehicle lineup with the launch of the GS8 4WD at the Discovery Drive Fest held in August 2023.

"The GS8 has had tremendous success since being launched in the Philippines and continues to be one of our best-selling nameplates. It is masterfully designed to exude confidence on the road and is perfect for customers seeking distinction and refinement in their SUV," Decloedt said.
