GAC Motor PH expands market reach with GenSan dealership

MANILA: In its bid to further tap more markets locally, GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company) Motor Philippines has opened its latest dealership in General Santos City.

Located along National Highway at Purok Palen, Barangay Labangal, the GAC Motor General Santos is being managed by the Angcore Motor Group, the Astara Philippines-led distributor’s new dealer-partner.

The new 3S (sales, spare parts, and service) facility follows the GAC’s international showroom standards. Its showroom can accommodate six vehicles while the service area has bays equipped to handle up to five vehicles for diagnostics and maintenance.

“GAC Motor is forging on to reach every corner of the Philippines, and together with this alliance with the Angcore Motor Group, we eagerly deliver the brand to customers in General Santos.  Astara and Angcore are aligned in empowering Filipino lives through the outstanding mobility solutions that GAC provides,” GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt was quoted as saying.

For his part, Angcore Motor Group Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Antonio Rubi Alberto Ang echoed Decloedt’s elation on the newly-forged alliance.

“We are beyond enthusiastic about this partnership with Astara Philippines with the opening of our new GAC Motor dealership here in General Santos City. Our most discerning customers seeking innovative and outstanding vehicles with reliable, world-class quality will surely find it in all our GAC Motor models,” the executive stated.

The inauguration of the dealership also served as the launch of the GAC M6 Pro and M8 in the said region.

Aside from the two, the establishment also offers GS3 Emzoom, Empow, Emkoo, and GS8.

All GAC Motor vehicles purchased in the dealership are packaged with an after sales warranty for the first five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Relatedly, GAC Motor Philippines revealed that it plans to have a 35-dealer strong network by the end of 2024 — with more locations set to be covered within the year: Zambales, Congressional Avenue and Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City, Valenzuela City, and Guiguinto in Bulacan.
