GAC Motor PH opens Alabang showroom

MANILA: The Philippine arm of GAC Motor did not rest on its laurels in closing the previous year as it inaugurated the latest addition to its network in Muntinlupa.

Last December 14, Astara Philippines formally opened the doors of GAC Motor Alabang — established in partnership with Autoicon.

The latest sales facility expanded the brand’s dealer network to 20 before the end of 2023.

Aside from executives of Astara, Autoicon, and bank partners, gracing the event were the two much-anticipated models under the Chinese automotive marque, the M8 and M6 Pro — the first tranche of the six-nameplate lineup to be revealed for 2024.

“We have a solid trust in Autoicon, and we believe that with our partnership and support for each other, they shall continue to contribute greatly to the stellar growth of the GAC Motor brand in the country," Astara Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello said.

Per GAC Motor’s local distributor, the newly-opened Alabang dealership is the first in the country that complies with the brand’s global showroom standards.

The showroom of the recently-inaugurated 3S (sales, service spare parts) facility can house up to four vehicles while its service area features six car bays equipped with diagnostic systems.

In addition, GAC Motor Philippines guaranteed that its Alabang dealership has a well-stocked warehouse with genuine parts and tools to ensure swift and efficient service.

Similar in all dealerships around the country, all vehicles that will be purchased in GAC Motor Alabang shall be covered by a five-year warranty, round-the-clock emergency roadside assistance, free preventive maintenance service on the first 5,000 kilometers, among other programs.
