GAC Motor PH unveils M6 Pro

Fresh from launch of the M8 luxury minivan, GAC Motor Philippines has introduced the M6 Pro to the local market.

Per the Astara-led firm, the newly-launched offering is a flexible seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle suited for Filipino families, transport solutions provider for growing small to medium enterprises, or serve as a command center for adventurers on open roads.

“GAC Motor Philippines is in pursuit of providing a wide range of vehicles that cater to the dynamic lifestyles of Filipino families and communities,” GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt said.

Exterior aesthetics

Inspired by a “wind wing” form, the all-new GAC M6 Pro enjoys aesthetic advantage and improved aerodynamic design.

Matching the contours of the vehicle’s front fascia are the matrix LED headlamps that have modern features like automatic height adjustment, headlights alarm, follow-me-home function, and high beam assist.

On the other hand, the tail lamps are fitted with LED beads that span the width of the vehicle.

Interior amenities

Inside, the all-new GAC M6 Pro is equipped with a seven-inch digital instrument cluster that extends to the 10.25-inch multifunctional infotainment touchscreen that supports Apple Carplay connectivity and Bluetooth hands-free phone system.

Giving occupants a comfortable seating position is the 2-2-3 seating configuration.

The driver seat features an electronically-adjustable six-way adjustment, while the front passenger and second can be moved four way manually. Aside from that, the second-row chairs also have multi-level movable armrests.

Meanwhile, the third row has an adjustable backrest and spacious legroom, which can be folded down — giving as much as 1,100 liters of storage space.

Powertrain

The newest people carrier is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission that can dish out 174 horsepower and 270 Newton-meters of torque.

Technologies

The all-new GAC M6 Pro is outfitted with a myriad of driver assistive technologies such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, high beam assist, integrated cruise assist, traffic jam assist, and traffic sign recognition system, among others.

It also has a surround view camera system as well as electronic stability program, hill-start hold control, hill descent control, and electronic parking brake with auto hold functionality.

Pricing, variants

Available in Crystal White, Peacock Blue, and Elegant Black, the all-new GAC M6 Pro can be had in two trims at the following prices:

• M6 Pro GS: P1.23 million
• M6 Pro GL: P1.598 million

Just like all- brand new GAC models, the M6 Pro is packaged with a five-year or 150,000 kilometers warranty, whichever comes first.
