Geneva Motor Show 2016 May Honour Maserati Levante Crossover Showcase

MANILA: Maserati has been a brand that had made its mark in the sporting cars, facing various peaks and valleys that made it reach at this level. Its presence in 61 countries, had its existence from the year 1914. The last we heard from this brand was when it revealed its Alfieri Concept at the Dubai Motor Show 2015. Coming back to the present scenario, it had endeavored to plunge into an entirely new segment of Crossovers. Prior to this, it was majorly involved in the production of grand tourers and swanky sedan models. This is the first time when it is coming up with such a different line-up in the competitive market of automobiles. It is expected that it will make a probable appearance at the Geneva Motor Show 2016.

This Italian luxury car manufacturer presented its Alferi Concept with a blend of style and uniqueness. The concept showed off a subtle Italian style 2+2 automobile signifying racing feel and experience. This definitely creates a major impact on the appearance of the car with detailing matching to the racing features. Moving further ahead, this Crossover 2016 is perceived to be on the tracks of the modular Maserati Ghibli platform. Additionally, it is also inspired from the Kubang concept that was introduced many years back. The Kubang Concept was introduced in year 2003 and was put on exhibit in the year 2011.

There haven't been much information revealed, yet from the tiny hints dropped, indicates that it will take few traits from its siblings. In addition, the specifications will incorporate the Ferrari established twin-turbo 3.0L V6 (for majorly all models) and V8 engine (for top trim levels), and a 3.0L turbodiesel engine holding its origin from VM Motori. The size and pricing of this new hunk will be somewhat fall in between the range of Ghibli and Quattro Porte. This step/project might surely hold an inertia at the initial stages of its selling experience, however we expect that the situation might turn to be favorable too.

The prospective plan indicates that there will be 75,000 models that will be put onto sale by the year 2018.
