This beguiling saloon gulps down life in the form of power fed to it by the 3-Litre Twin Turbo V6 engine. This well-refined powerplant drinks oil efficiently to churn out a maximum power output of 241–301 kW at 5000 rpm and a capable torque output of 500 Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. The 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine churns out a maximum power of 202 kW at 4000 rpm while the peak torque measures 570 Nm at mere 2000- 2500 rpm. The new auto-adaptive 8-speed ZF automatic transmission meshed with this engine helps it to project the car with a speed of 100kmph from naught in just 4.8 to 6.7 seconds and attain a top-speed of 263 kmph. The specifically designed engine cam assembly and injection system combined with a customised electronic control system keeps the mileage well in boundaries displaying a fuel economy of 10.4 kmpl.

The swift handling of the car is the result of double wishbone suspensions at front and rear five arm multi-link suspension at rear. In order to ensure effective braking the disc brakes are accompanied with Anti- Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution System (EBD), and Brake Assist (BA). The other safety features include, electronic vehicle immobilization device. The air bag system (front, side and curtain), Hill Launch Assist (HLA), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Rear as well as front parking sensors further adds to the safety features of the car in an effective manner.
