The all-new Honda HR-V was officially launched in the Philippines last April. It showcases the essence of a subcompact crossover with its elegant and sporty looks, exhilarating performance, and spacious cabin.
Honda HR-V is positioned to initiate a new phenomenon in the automotive industry by offering customers with new premium value.
The HR-V combines functionality, safety, modern features, sleek design, and remarkable driving experience based on three core values: pleasure, confidence, and aesthetics.
Its aggressive exterior styling is emphasized by elegant and sporty accents. It is equipped with new headlights and fog lamps with turn lights, auto on/off function, and daytime running lights. The V variant features a mesh-type grille, while the S variant is designed with a black bar-type grille.
The V variant also comes with a sport-type bumper with the Amp Up Line design that adds individuality to the subcompact crossover.
One of the most prominent design cues is the LED taillight bar, which provides more premium and sportier exterior looks. Both variants are equipped with unique rear bumpers, while the V variant comes with a dual tailpipe layout with finishers. With its improved sportiness and sophisticated design, the all-new HR-V is guaranteed to be a real head-turner.
The all-new HR-V features a human-centric cabin with excellent ergonomics and high-quality materials. It is equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen display audio, as well as a six-speaker sound system. The infotainment system is compatible with a wide range of multimedia functions, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allow the driver to access several mobile apps.
The HR-V also comes standard with one push start system, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, single-zone automatic climate control with rear air vents and the new air diffusion system.
Cargo loading is also made easier with the HR-V's ULT seats, which can be adjusted in three different modes: Utility Mode, Long Mode, and Tall Mode.
The S variant is powered by a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine, while the V variant is driven by a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine. Both engines are paired to a CVT.
The all-new HR-V also comes standard with Honda Sensing, which offers extensive protection for drivers and passengers by giving warnings and performing automatic actions to lessen the risk of accidents. Honda Sensing includes advanced safety features such as collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive cruise control (ACC) with low-speed follow (LSF), lane keeping assist system (LKAS), road departure mitigation system with lane departure warning (RDM with LDW), auto high-beam (AHB), and lead car departure notification system (LCDN).
During the Philippine International Motor Show held on September 15 to 18, HCPI unveiled the HR-V RS variant, which features a sportier exterior and interior design.
The RS variant’s exterior is designed with a Sporty Chrome Front Grille and RS Emblem with Red Amp up Logo on the lower bumper. It is also fitted with 18-inch RS Design Gray alloy wheels and LED sequential turn signal. Its appearance is also enhanced by a side sill garnish with chrome, paired up with side sill garnish glossy black.
On the inside, the HR-V RS is equipped with sport pedals, shift knobs, and leather interior with red stitching. Its Variable Gear Ratio enables smoother steering and improved responsiveness and stability. The HR-V RS is also equipped with an eight-speaker sound system, auto up/down power window for driver and front passenger, eight-way power driver seat, and dual-zone climate control airconditioning. The additional storage space add to the convenience delivered by the HR-V RS.
