Honda Cars PH slashes P150k off on CR-V with extended ‘Drive in Style’ promo

MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) has slashed P150,000 off the CR-V V Turbo CVT’s sticker price with its extended “Drive in Style” promo.

Per the local wing of the Japanese carmaker, the base variant of its iconic sport utility vehicle (SUV) is currently priced at P1.95 million (for the month of September) from P2.1 million. In addition, those eyeing to bring home the Honda CR-V’s V variant can enjoy a monthly amortization rate of P38,820 with a low downpayment plan that can go as low as P10,000.

Features

Despite being the entry-level variant in the current-generation Honda CR-V family, the V Turbo CVT variant packs a handful of features, which make it an ideal daily driver or weekender.

The said model has been awarded the “Best Safety Performance in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP)” award by the 2024 ASEAN New Car Assessment Program. It works to keep passengers safe with a host of technologies like the Honda Sensing suite of safety features, which include adaptive cruise control, low speed follow, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation with lane departure warning, forward collision warning, auto high beam, and lead car departure warning.

It also gets a “Front Millimeter Radar System” mounted behind the Honda emblem. Per HCPI, it increases the SUV’s field of view to 120 degrees as opposed to the previous 50.

The Tokyo City-headquartered brand also packed the base-variant CR-V with the Honda Connect system. When paired with the smartphone app, the vehicle can send alerts should the car become involved in an accident, locate it in a crowded parking lot, send service reminders, and others. It even comes with the latest updates on offers and news from HCPI.

Powering the Honda CR-V V Turbo CVT is a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. The said setup produces some 187 horsepower with 240 Newton-meters of torque.

It is available in four colors, namely Canyon River Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl.

Other discounted models

Under HCPI’s extended “Drive in Style” promo, the brand is also offering discounts or other ameplates.

The Honda Civic RS Turbo CVT with Honda Sensing, for example, is currently offered with a P80,000 markdown with a P32,812 monthly amortization rate.

Also, the Honda HR-V V Turbo CVT with Honda Sensing gets the same P80,000 markdown.

On the other hand, the Honda BR-V 1.5 S CVT variant is currently offered with a P1.110 million price tag, which is originally at P1.150 million.

Finally, the Honda City 1.5 S CVT is being sold, for the month of September, with a special P18,000 downpayment plan with a 36-60 month term (applicable through BPI, RCBC, and Bank of Commerce financing).

On top of the aforementioned deals, HCPI still has ongoing promos such as its free insurance package, Honda Genuine Accessories promo, and the Honda Upgrade Program.

The extended Honda “Drive in Style” promo will run until the end of September 2024.
