Honda Civic 2016 Showcased at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show 2016
BANGKOK: Already been launched in our neighboring country, Thailand, Honda Civic 2016 has now been centre staged at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2016 alongside the brand's other masterpiece Honda Accord 2016. Receiving a grand applause from Thai locals, Honda Philippines is also creating a much hype in the country to entice the Filipinos by revealing Honda sedan's official prices and specs ahead of its launch at the MIAS 2016.
The new Civic has landed on Thai soil with two different engine options comprising a 1.5-litre i-VTEC turbocharged engine and a 1.8-litre naturally-aspirated power unit. Both the power mills keep up with the brand's reputation of offering optimum fuel efficiency as well as impressive performance. They are capable of churning out the total output of 173 hp/220 Nm from the turbocharged and 141 hp/174 Nm from the NA mill.
The all-new Civic also boasts the all-new and classy look shedding off the boring as well as conventional look of the previous model. Front fascia sporting the thick chrome front grille and sharp LED headlights gives the car a more aggressive and premium look. The modifications and advancement are not restricted to the exterior front only as the inside has also got the touch of refinement. New Civic offers an elegant ambience with plush, comfortable and luxurious seats along with a wide range of comforting features. Entertainment and comfort quotient has also not been forgotten, the Japanese automaker has given a full attention to it by incorporating multifunction steering wheel, Remote Engine Start, 8-way powered driver's seat and 7-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and SIRI Eyes Free.
Hosting a range of Modulo accessories, the new Civic is also loaded with the standard safety kit including dual airbags, Hill Start Assist, ABS with EBD and BA while the Turbo RS receives side and curtain airbags along with the front passenger seat belt reminder as well as Honda Lanewatch.
