KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What is the range of Hyundai Ioniq 6?

When fully charged, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has a range of 614km.
  • How fast can the battery of Hyundai Ioniq 6 be charged?

The battery of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 can be charged from 10% to 80% in less than 20 minutes using a high-speed charger.
  • Dubbed as an “Electrified Streamliner,” the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is aerodynamically shaped and uses sustainable materials in clever ways to represent the values of today's electric vehicle customers.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is characterized by clean lines and a pure aerodynamic form that Hyundai designers refer to as “Emotional Efficiency.” The Hyundai Ioniq 6 was inspired by Hyundai's Prophecy EV Concept. A new generation of electric mobility is embodied by the Hyundai Ioniq 6's electrified streamliner typology and thoughtful cocoon-like interior, and the overall design concept of “Ethical Uniqueness” underlines Hyundai's customer-focused commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 showcases ethical and innovative design through the use of sustainable materials and high energy efficiency. The interior space and exterior form were developed simultaneously since the design was human-centric from the beginning. Efforts were made to maximize the interior space, stretching it at the front and rear, resulting in a unique streamliner profile and a roomy cabin.

Like the award-winning Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 employs the Hyundai Look design philosophy, which gives each model a distinctive appearance. As a customer-centric company, Hyundai designs with diverse lifestyles in mind rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Based on earlier details from Hyundai, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 measures 4,855mm long, 1,880mm wide, and 1,495mm tall. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is fitted with 20-inch or 18-inch wheels.

The interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 offers a cozy, personalized sanctuary. The driver can choose from a palette of 64 colors and six pre-selected themes to modify the look and ambiance of the cabin using Dual Color Ambient Lighting. The Speed Sync adjusts the brightness of the interior lighting in the first row depending on the speed of the vehicle.

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is equipped with a 12-inch digital cluster and a 12-inch full-touch infotainment display.

Real-time travel radius mapping is offered by the infotainment system based on the battery's current level of charge. A charging station along the trip can be located and planned using the system's connected car services.

The infotainment system can also be linked to a smartphone through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Two devices can be paired simultaneously for phone calls and music streaming thanks to Bluetooth's support for multiple connections. Eight speakers, including a subwoofer, from the premium Bose sound system are positioned strategically around the cabin to provide an excellent listening experience.

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

The 77.4kWh battery of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 powers the front and rear electric motors. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 now has all-wheel drive and a system output of 321hp and 605Nm of torque. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in less than 20 minutes using a high-speed charger. When fully charged, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has a range of 614km.

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 offers the same cutting-edge vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, allowing customers to plug in electronic devices to the vehicle to charge them. It is perfect for camping, outdoor activities, and powering necessities during a power outage.

V2L is enabled using an available accessory adaptor that goes into the outside charging port. A second outlet for charging laptops, phones, and other devices is located under the back row seat.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 comes standard with Hyundai SmartSense, ensuring safety while driving.

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

One of the Hyundai SmartSense features in the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2) that helps keep a certain distance and speed from the vehicle in front while driving on a highway. It also assists in keeping the vehicle centered in its lane while negotiating curves. If the side vehicle is approaching closely, it helps to modify the path of the car so that no one is put in danger. If travelling above a certain speed, holding the steering wheel while using the turn signal switch causes the lane to change automatically in the indicated direction.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC), on the other hand, aids in maintaining distance from the car in front and sustaining the speed set by the driver. The system remembers the driver's driving behavior when SCC is not in use. When SCC is engaged, it automatically begins to imitate the previously observed driving style.

Meanwhile, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) assists in preventing collisions with objects in front of the vehicle while driving. It issues a warning if the preceding vehicle abruptly slows down or if a pedestrian or stopped vehicle poses a risk of a forward collision. If there is still a risk of collision after the warning, it can assist with emergency braking. It can also assist with emergency braking if there is a risk of collision with a cyclist ahead, or with an approaching vehicle at an intersection.

Other safety features include Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), High Beam Assist (HBA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), Safe Exit Warning (SEW), Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2), Surround View Monitor (SVM), Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA), and  Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA).

    Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 also has an Over-the-Air (OTA) Software Update feature for various controllers. This technology enables the driver to upgrade the vehicle's controllers for electric devices, autonomous driving, battery, and more for a safer and more convenient driving experience. The maps and media software can also be updated with the OTA function.
