The latest generation of Hyundai Smart Sense Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is included in the Hyundai Ioniq 6, offering the highest levels of road safety and convenience. These include Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2), which helps the driver maintain a predetermined distance and speed from the vehicle in front while driving on a highway. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 can do Level 2 autonomous driving, thanks to this feature.
Another remarkable feature is the Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC), which emulates the driver's developed driving style, assists in maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front while maintaining the speed set. Additionally, it optimizes automated driving and adjusts speed for safe driving through corners and intersections using the navigation system's road information. Furthermore, the Ioniq 6 comes standard with seven airbags, one of which is located in the center of the driver's seat for additional passive safety.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6, which Hyundai refers to as a “Electrified Streamliner,” is based on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) of the Hyundai Motor Group. It comes with a number of cutting-edge technologies and a roomy, customer-centric cabin. It pushes the limits of electric mobility with an extended range of up to 614km on a single charge, with the 800V ultra-fast charging delivering up to 350 of those kilometers in just 15 minutes.
The Ioniq 6 is aerodynamically shaped and uses sustainable materials in clever ways to represent the values of today's electric vehicle customers.
It is characterized by clean lines and a pure aerodynamic form that Hyundai designers refer to as “Emotional Efficiency.” It was inspired by Hyundai's Prophecy EV Concept. A new generation of electric mobility is embodied by the Ioniq 6's electrified streamliner typology and thoughtful cocoon-like interior, and the overall design concept of “Ethical Uniqueness” underlines Hyundai's customer-focused commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 showcases ethical and innovative design through the use of sustainable materials and high energy efficiency. The interior space and exterior form were developed simultaneously since the design was human-centric from the beginning. Efforts were made to maximize the interior space, stretching it at the front and rear, resulting in a unique streamliner profile and a roomy cabin.
Like the award-winning Ioniq 5, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 employs the Hyundai Look design philosophy, which gives each model a distinctive appearance. As a customer-centric company, Hyundai designs with diverse lifestyles in mind rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
