Hyundai Motor to bring ‘Future Mobility School’ to PH in 2024
MANILA: Hyundai Motor ASEAN Headquarters is planning to bring the Future Mobility School program to the Philippines and Thailand in 2024.

The Future Mobility School gives students knowledge on the advancements in the mobility sector, including electrification and autonomous driving technologies.The educational program was launched in Southeast Asia in August in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - Asia-Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding (UNESCO APCEIU). It was offered in 12 schools across Southeast Asia – three in Indonesia, five in Malaysia, and four in Cambodia.
In 2016, Hyundai Motor Company and the South Korean Ministry of Education first introduced the Future Mobility School. This program was then adopted by the Hyundai Motor ASEAN Headquarters, offering a range of learning activities to primary and high school students in Southeast Asia.
“Hyundai is committed to using mobility for the betterment of humanity, and we believe that education plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation, especially in ASEAN countries, with its demographic bonus. Future Mobility School is one of the ways we can prepare youths in ASEAN countries on the emerging career paths to become leaders of the mobility industry themselves,” Hyundai Motor ASEAN Headquarters Executive Vice President and Head Youngtack Lee stated.
Facilitated by dispatched Korean teachers, the Future Mobility School gives students knowledge on the advancements in the mobility sector, including electrification and autonomous driving technologies. Through hands-on projects, discussions, and workshops, students are provided an educational experience while engaging them in the evolution of mobility over time.
A grade four student from Cambodia, who dreams of becoming a car designer in the future, shared his experience with Hyundai’s Future Mobility School, saying, “During this program, I learned a lot of things about cars and technology. I also discovered what my future job could look like, and even got the chance to make my own futuristic model car. I hope this program continues to be held every year.”
