Hyundai to open premiere smart urban mobility hub in Singapore

MANILA: Hyundai Motor Group has revealed initial details of its first smart urban mobility hub, which will open on November 21 in Singapore.

The Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) is set to offer an unparalleled level of human-robotic process integration in keeping with the group’s mission to enable “progress for humanity.”

As a testbed for human-centric intelligent vehicle manufacturing technologies, HMGICS will use cutting-edge, next-generation production methods that have been significantly improved from traditional conveyor-belt manufacturing. 

With extensive knowledge of smart mobility and smart automotive production solutions, the facility will be using the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and robotics.

Fully integrated into the smart city ecosystem of Singapore, HMGICS is positioned to strengthen the country's status as a pioneer in the new era of future mobility while also advancing Hyundai Motor Group’s approach to production, sustainability, and customer experience. It will support the shared ambition of Singapore and Hyundai to build a sustainable future for everybody.
