Hyundai Tucson & Elantra 2016 honoured with iF Design Award

MANILA: The iF Design Award is given to various brands, concepts, projects and products based on their design brilliance. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards, ever since it was established back in the year 1950. Hyundai prides in having bagged awards in this concern from past 3 years in a row, and has again clenched this prestigious award for the Tucson and Elantra. This award is categorized under the bracket of Automobiles/Bikes/Vehicles.

It is interesting to note that Hyundai recently launched its 2017 Elantra model in the Philippines automotive market. The highlight of the Elantra 2016 model is that it includes a swanky look, promising performance, fluid sculpture 2.0 design and premium quality interior. With respect to the colors, it will be accessible in the range of fiery red, marina blue, platinum silver, phantom black and polar white. While the Hyundai Elantra is all about premiumness, the Tucson is designed to add a pinch of sportiness to the car's character. Hyundai has achieved this stage of excellence on the basis of its 'Modern Premium' brand orientation. It is perceived that the Hyundai Tucson can easily be identified, owing to its looks that signify boldness and have a differentiating design pattern.

Hyundai stood in stiff competition with entries that ranged upto 5000 in number amidst a panel that consists of 53 varied countries. The selected judges were specially chosen for this bracket of awards. This 2016 felicitation marks the third consecutive victory for the Korean auto maker, who has made a cult name for itself in the automotive designing domain.

Back in the year 2015, the new generation i20 was selected in the aforementioned category. This car belonged to the B-segment car section, and was based on a unique and elegant design. The specialty of this car had been its elegant and conspicuous hexagonal grille, which gave it an innovative appearance. With respect to the car's exterior surface, the presence of black glossy C-pillar created an out of the box floating roof pattern. In the interior portion, the attributes had been driver centric. The features include the silken material, precise piano black finishing, and chrome inserts. This new generation i20 has been set up, produced and designed in Europe. It is a pride moment for i20, as this award has been graced to it for 2 years consecutively.

In this context the Hyundai Genesis was granted an award in the year 2014. Hyundai had endeavored in targeting the right set of models for appropriate regions. Winning this hasn't been a cake walk for Hyundai, however the consistent hard work of the company's designers and dedication paid off well.

We hope and wish that following the same trend of consistent success, Hyundai reaches the zenith of automotive design in the coming years too. It has already gained well deserved fame, and has created a deep bond with its customers. Pacing up with the fast changing technology and being distinctive at the same time has been the orientation for this South Korean automaker.
