Inchcape PH launches ‘Extended Care’ program for Jeep, Dodge, Ram vehicles

MANILA: Inchcape Philippines, the official distributor of Jeep, Dodge, and Ram trucks in the local market, has officially rolled out its new “Extended Care” program through its IC Automotive Incorporated operations arm. 

As hinted at by its name, the new initiative offers an extended warranty program for various Jeep, Dodge, and Ram products. For a nominal fee, the initiative can extend the regular three-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty offered for its lineup of models with an additional two-year or 50,000-km warranty. 

Under Extended Care, the total warranty for Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles amounts to a five-year or 150,000 km (whichever comes first) package. 

Per Inchcape PH, the expanded warranty was designed to offer its clients a safe and worry-free vehicle ownership experience. After all, it covers all original mechanical and electrical manufacturer-fitted components. Plus, the said program is transferable to second-hand vehicle buyers, so besides ease of mind, it can also provide added vehicle value as well. 

The aforementioned sounds enticing, but the new warranty program has several conditions that interested customers should take note of. 

For starters, vehicles purchased within zero to 90 days can get a lower price for the extended warranty. Meanwhile, vehicles aged 91 days to 33 months before warranty expiration will have to fork out slightly more expensive fees. 

Additionally, the vehicle getting the extended warranty must be serviced at the correct intervals at authorized Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealerships only. Clients are likewise required to sign an “Extended Warranty Acceptance Form.”

Per Inchcape, the Extended Warranty is available from its Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealerships in Alabang, Cebu, Clark, Greenhills, and San Fernando. 

As a side note, one of Inchcape's latest products in the Philippine market is the refreshed Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. 

Launched back in August 2024, the updated Wrangler Rubicon sports a revised exterior, more on-board features, and additional technologies, as well as a pair of new Dana 44 heavy-duty full-float rear axles.

Pricing for the updated Wrangler Rubicon is priced at P5.59 million for the two-door variant and P5.78 million for the four-door version.
