Isuzu Makati is IPC’s 2022 Dealer of the Year
MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) held the Dealer of the Year Awards (DOYA) at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on Friday, January 27, to acknowledge the excellent performance of its dealers.

Top Isuzu dealers and employees were awarded by IPC for their accomplishments and exceptional performance throughout the year 2022. Aside from the anticipated Dealer of the Year Award, the dealers who earned the highest scores in accordance with the standards established by IPC also received Excellence in Sales, Parts, and Service Operations Awards. Sales executives who demonstrated outstanding skills and contributions to the Isuzu brand also received individual awards including Sales Executive of the Year and Truck Elite of the Year.
Isuzu Makati received the 2022 Dealer of the Year Award. Isuzu Cagayan De Oro ranked second, while Isuzu Bacoor got the third spot.
The 2022 Excellence in Sales Operations Award went to Isuzu Alabang. Isuzu Calapan placed second, while Isuzu Cagayan De Oro ranked third.
Isuzu Cagayan De Oro bagged the 2022 Excellence in Service Operations Award. Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Bacoor ranked second and third, respectively.
The 2022 Excellence in Parts Operations Award was given to Isuzu Makati. Isuzu Isabela placed second, while Isuzu Cagayan De Oro ranked third.
Rica Anne Quico from Isuzu Alabang was named 2022 Sales Executive of the Year, while Diana Rose Araneta from Isuzu Pasig is the 2022 Truck Elite of the Year.
The overall winner, Isuzu Makati, is under Isuzu Gencars, Inc.
Isuzu Gencars, Inc. Chairman Edgard Cabangon thanked IPC for the recognition and support that their dealers continue to receive.
Isuzu Gencars, Inc. President Lerma Nacnac also commended everyone on their efforts and cooperation, including the other Gencars dealer branches, saying, “This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our employees, our officers, and sales agents.”
IPC President Tetsuya Fujita expressed his gratitude to all dealers for their dedication and continued support to IPC in 2022, which largely contributed to the 23 consecutive years of Isuzu being the top truck brand in the Philippines. He also declared his commitment to lead the IPC network, saying, “As the leading truck brand in the industry, we will continue innovating new products that will assist in the progress of the country while displaying more responsibility to the society and the environment through our ‘Road to Progress’ vision.”
IPC currently has 48 dealerships nationwide. The DOYA concluded the IPC network's 2022 success, but the challenge to retain the Number 1 Truck Brand title continues in 2023. In his speech, IPC Executive Vice President Shojiro Sakoda congratulated the winners and lifted everyone's spirits, saying, “Our resilience has gotten us this far, so together, let us grab this chance to make 2023 another year of remarkable growth and productivity!”
