Isuzu PH donates P250K to Irosin District Hospital

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) donated P250,000 to Irosin District Hospital as part of its Road to Progress vision announced during its 25th anniversary celebration.

IPC teamed up with Isuzu Legazpi under Gencars, Inc. to reach out to a hospital in the Bicol region that needed assistance.

IPC Assistant Vice President for Administration Imelda Bernas and Isuzu Legazpi Sales Manager Susan Reyes traveled to Sorsogon to turn over the cash donation to Irosin District Hospital.

Irosin District Hospital is a government hospital run by Sorsogon Hospital, catering patients from the municipality of Irosin and nearby areas. The cash donation they received, according to Irosin District Hospital Administrative Officer V Anecia Bojorque, will be utilized to buy more medicines and medical supplies.

Irosin District Hospital chief Sherwin Amisola MD, MSPH thanked IPC for the assistance given not only to the hospital, but also to the residents of Irosin. Irosin District Hospital provides a wide range of medical services and can accommodate a large number of patients, thus with the donation from IPC, it can help and accommodate more people.

IPC actively promotes community involvement through a variety of CSR programs. To commemorate its 25th year in business, IPC's commitment continues with their vision moving towards Road To Progress, which means developing the company while fostering a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable environment for future generations and consistently giving back to society. One of the many CSR initiatives IPC has planned is helping local communities by fulfilling their medical needs.

The Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan De Oro was the recipient of the first portion of the hospital donation project.

There will be two more rounds of donation projects to hospitals in the National Capital Region and Visayas Region as IPC wants to strengthen their commitment to society by continuing to provide help and assistance to more people through medical institutions before the year ends.
