Isuzu PH presents updated D-Max, mu-X at summer music fest

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) officially launched the latest iteration of the Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu mu-X at the Isuzu Summer Music Festival held at Alabang Town Center on April 21 to 23.

Aside from the public display of the new Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu mu-X, IPC also organized other family-friendly activities such as free test drive, afternoon games, a dog show, a car club meet-up, and live performances by renowned OPM artists.

IPC showcased the new features of the two models at the opening event. The Isuzu D-Max boasts a sportier and rugged look with a new exterior design that features a new two-tone front grille, new matte dark gray 18-inch alloy, and new body color Islay Gray.

The new Isuzu mu-X, on the other hand, was introduced as a “Premium Family SUV” that is ideal for road trips. The new 20-inch alloy wheels and sleek two-tone front grille give the Isuzu D-Max a fresh new look that upgrades its exterior design and provides an upscale and premium vibe. The Isuzu mu-X LS-E variants also come in a new sophisticated color variant, Norwegian Blue.

The innovative features of the new Isuzu mu-X, such as the Smart Power Tailgate with Step Sensor, further enhance the family experience. This allows easier cargo loading and unloading by automatically opening the tailgate using advanced key detection and sensor technology.

IPC also emphasized the renowned reliability and safety features of both models. Both the Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu mu-X, which use Blue Power technology, have 4JJ3-TCX diesel engines that enhance performance and fuel efficiency. These engines have proven to provide more driving range without incurring high fuel costs.

The Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu mu-X both earned a five-star safety rating from the ASEAN NCAP. The two models come standard with Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) with Smart Duo Cam, Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go Functionality. These features guarantee that every ride on the Isuzu D-Max and Isuzu mu-X are safer and more convenient.
