Isuzu PH turns over 98 Traviz units to Zamboanga LGU

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) and its dealer Isuzu Zamboanga turned over 98 brand-new Traviz units to the city government of Zamboanga as part of the commemoration of the 124th anniversary of Philippine Independence, helping the lightweight truck reach the 10,000-unit sales milestone.

The Traviz units with rescue vehicle bodies will be distributed to the barangays in the city. They will be outfitted with strobe lights, a built-in siren, a PA system, and a one-unit spine board. This is aligned with the city's priority on the Barangay Emergency Network Group program, which seeks to empower and equip the barangays to guarantee prompt response during emergencies and calamities.

IPC Dealer Sales Head Mario Ojales led the turnover of units to the local government officials of City of Zamboanga headed by Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco Salazar, Councilor Digong Asdali, Vice Mayor-Elect Josephine Pareja, Councilor-Elect James Pantaleon Siason and Councilor-Elect Eddie Saavedra.

The city government said that in addition to competitive pricing, they also considered the Traviz's high fuel efficiency, which makes it practical and perfect for multi-purpose trips throughout the barangays. Due to its powerful yet fuel-efficient engine, the Traviz has gained popularity among company owners since it was first introduced to the Philippine market. According to the results of the One Full Tank Challenge conducted by IPC as seen and approved by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) last April, the Traviz can go up to 1,063 km on one full tank with a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters.

The Traviz is powered by a Euro 4-rated 4JA1 2.5-liter Direct Injection Common Rail Blue Power Diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It can carry up to 1.6 tons of payload. This powerful truck also has a comfortable cabin that can fit up to three passengers. With its short turning radius of 4.5 meters, the Traviz is perfect for driving in congested areas and narrow streets.

IPC is celebrating the 10,000-unit sales milestone of Traviz by launching the "10K Thank You Treat," a series of promos for current and potential Traviz customers. Through this promo, IPC will be raffling off 10,000 liters worth of fuel to 500 customers who will purchase or reserve a Traviz unit. The company is also giving away additional P10,000 Traviz referral bonus on top of the existing P10,000 referral fee that they are already offering for both existing and potential customers. Every purchase of Traviz also comes with a 10% discount on labor and parts for any periodic maintenance service (PMS) and/or general job with free one-liter Isuzu Genuine Motor Oil XTRM.
