Jaguar F-Type to escort NYC Pride March Grand Marshals

MANILA: Jaguar Land Rover North America will chauffeur the Grand Marshals of this year's NYC Pride March in 2023 Jaguar F-Type vehicles.

The Grand Marshals of the 2022 NYC Pride March are Schuyler Bailar, the first openly transgender NCAA Division I swimmer; Ts Madison, a reality television personality, entrepreneur, actress, and LGBT activist; Dominique Morgan, an award-winning artist, activist, and speaker; Chase Strangio, a lawyer and transgender rights activist who serves as the Deputy Director for Transgender Justice and a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union; and Punkie Johnson, an actress, comedian, and writer.

Each of the five Jaguar F-Type automobiles will transport the Marshals throughout their route as supporters come to the streets to honor the 53rd Pride celebration. In addition, a customized Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Defender will be coated in an artistic Pride-inspired design, and they will be accompanied by Jaguar Land Rover North America personnel who will join the parade.

Recently, Jaguar Land Rover named Anna Budden as its new International Diversity and Inclusion Business Partner. Budden is fully committed to fostering a culture of unity, inclusion, and respect within the Jaguar Land Rover Organization. During Pride Month, she oversees a series of initiatives that involve Jaguar Land Rover North America employees in events, group learning opportunities, and speaker series.

“As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I feel grateful to do this work alongside my colleagues, and to have the opportunity to create change. In my role at Jaguar Land Rover, my goal is to ensure that everyone's voices are heard and considered so we can grow and move forward. Throughout Pride Month and beyond, we have several initiatives planned to keep our DEI conversations alive within our global organization and within society as a whole. I am excited for what’s to come,” Budden said.
