Jaguar Land Rover to upgrade HVAC systems with Panasonic Nanoe X

MANILA: Panasonic has revealed that its Nanoe X technology will be used by Jaguar Land Rover in its future vehicle heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Nanoe technology is currently being used in the entire Jaguar range, including the the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace performance SUV, and in the Land Rover lineup, including the Discovery and Range Rover Evoque.

The Nanoe technology is predicated on the nano-sized particulate ion that is made by applying high voltage to water in the air. It is composed of hydroxyl radicals that easily act on numerous substances. The production of the hydroxyl radicals is increased tenfold, which results to the development of the Nanoe X technology that is being used in air purifiers, air-conditioners, washing machines, automobiles, trains, and commercial air-conditioning equipment. It generates various effects including deodorization, and elimination of bacteria and allergens.

Panasonic said it stays true to its commitment in providing “quality air for life” not only in the automotive sector, but also in housing-related fields and home appliances to promote a healthy lifestyle.
