Jaguar PH to adapt new corporate identity by 2026

MANILA: While the brand’s new design language has been officially revealed to the world, Jaguar’s new corporate identity will not reflect in the Philippine showrooms just yet.

During an interview, IC Land Automotive Incorporated Vice President Chris Ward said that the new creative philosophy — dubbed “Exuberant Modernism” —will be seen in local showrooms by 2026.

“We, in 2026, will do a refurbishment of the Greenhills facility,” the local executive told Zigwheels Philippines.

“We won’t do changes until then. We’re on the journey now, so through 2026, it will be the time to upgrade into new the environment just in time when the new cars will arrive," he added.

By that time, Ward expressed pride that Philippines will be one of the four countries in Asia that will initially adapt the new corporate identity.

Early this month, Jaguar revealed the new creative philosophy that is based on three characteristics, which are “represented in both a new artistic visual identity and the way it builds relationships with clients”: exuberant, modernist, and compelling.

In time for the unveiling of the new brand identity, Jaguar also unveiled the Type 00 — a concept car that recaptures the “Copy Nothing” ethos that brand founder William Lyons created.
