JMC PH establishes Davao dealership

MANILA: Jiangling Motors Corporation’s (JMC) footprint in the Philippines has further expanded after Astara Philippines opened its first dealership in Mindanao.

Located in Farma Auto Supply Compound at Kilometer 13 in Panacan, Davao City, the new JMC outlet highlights the brand’s commitment to serving more customers across the Philippines.

“This new dealership ensures that our customers in Davao City can easily see and experience the latest JMC vehicles, including businesses looking for greater value for money in their fleets,” JMC Philippines Sales Director Michael John del Pilar was quoted as saying.

To note, JMC Philippines offers two pick-up models namely the Grand Avenue and Vigus.

With a starting price of P1.221 million, the JMC Grand Avenue is powered by a 2.3-liter, twin-cam, 16-valve inline-four turbo diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The mill — available in 4x2 and 4x4 options — has the capacity to produce 175 horsepower (hp) and 450 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Its interior comes with leather upholstery, automatic climate control, electronically-adjustable front seats, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Also offered in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, the JMC Vigus is equipped with a 2.5-liter, twin-cam, 16-valve inline-four turbo diesel engine that delivers 128 hp and 315 Nm of pulling power. The aforementioned engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Its pricing starts at P959,000.

Both offerings are packaged with five-year/150,000-kilometer warranty (whichever comes first), a lifetime engine warranty for complete peace of mind, and free 24/7 roadside assistance for the first year.
