Kia K2500 proves mettle in challenging Batangas driving course

MANILA: Following the rebranding of Kia and the launch of its new dealership in Alabang, the Korean carmaker now aims to make headlines with the Kia K2500. Kia Philippines hosted the K2500 Media Drive last November 22 to 26 to show journalists and content creators the overall business capabilities of the commercial vehicle.

The adventure began with a road trip from Bonifacio Global City (BGC) to The General’s Farm in Batangas, a test-drive location featuring a variety of tough terrain. The K2500s and the drivers were welcomed by a driving course upon reaching the destination. Rough terrain, difficult maneuvers, and tough situations had to be overcome.

Before beginning the course, there were walkthroughs that showcased the cargo space as well as the specs and features that make the K2500 ideal for every business. The actual test occurred after the informative sessions. Participants had the opportunity to test the 4x2 and 4x4 variants of the K2500 on various road conditions.

Two separate courses were created for the 4x2 and 4x4 variants. The 4x4 course featured a more difficult terrain with tight, slippery corners and side slopes. After completing the course, the K2500s returned to BGC through the uphill and downhill roads that pass through Tagaytay.
