Kia Releases First Official Picture of Facelifted Cadenza
MANILA: Kia Motors have officially released two pictures of 2017 Kia Cadenza. Earlier the company treated us with some teaser images of its revamped sedan. In the pictures, Cadenza appears to carry an updated exterior styling and also boasts a useful new design. Though, nothing about its interior was shared, but Kia promised a high level of interior quality and luxury when the all-new Cadenza goes on sale in the overseas markets.
As for its showroom debut the 2017 Kia Cadenza will not make an appearance until early 2016. The revamped sedan carries the same progressive, contemporary image like the ongoing model. And as for addition Cadenza now features sharper and more defined lines, and its lower stance enhancing its distinctive and modern look.
Kia says that the all-new Cadenza is inspired from European luxury sedan, and in the words of Korean automaker, its new creation features 'long bonnet, gently rising shoulder line and swept-back roofline give the car a sleek, elongated silhouette. The window-line tapers slightly as it draws towards the back of the cabin, and kicks up sharply as it meets the C-pillar, giving the Cadenza a more purposeful, 'lean-forward' stance.'
A closer inspection reveals a revamped tiger-nose grille, LED headlamps and muscular fenders. Sharp contour line can be seen throughout, with major emphasis on the side and rear profile. Other noticeable features include chrome detailing, twin exhaust pipe, squared-off bumper and bold styling.
The all-new Cadenza seems to share its underpinning with Hyundai Azera, and was introduced in the Korean market in 2010. In its hometown, Cadenza sells with the name K7 and the current version runs on a 3.3L V6 engine generating a maximum horsepower of 293 with a peak torque of 225 pound-feet.
