Kia Seltos SX arrives in PH

The spruced-up Kia Seltos’ top-of-the-line version has arrived in the Philippines.

In a statement, AC Motors announced that customers may now check the Kia Seltos SX at its dealerships around the country.

Its availability followed the introduction of the nameplate's entry (LX) and mid grades (EX) trims in the country in November 2023.

“We encourage and invite our customers to visit their nearest Kia dealership to see, feel, and experience the new 2024 Kia Seltos,” Kia Philippines Chief Operating Officer Brian Buendia said.

“Now that all three variants of the 2024 Kia Seltos are here, our customers can discover which new specifications fit their needs, requirements, and budget. The 2024 Kia Seltos SX brings a refined presence, ease and convenience, enhanced comfort, and extensive safety features ideal for families and individuals who want a vehicle that lets them get the best out of life,” Buendia added.

The Kia Seltos SX is 4,385 millimeters (mm) long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,635 mm tall with a 2,630 mm wheelbase.

Fitted on the Kia Seltos SX are the prominent grille design with added accents, front and rear bumpers with updated turn signals, LED fog lamps, functional roof rails, satin-finish belt trims, chrome trims, and connected star-map signature LED taillamps to distinguish it from the earlier-released models.

The aforementioned variant from Kia sits on semi-gloss black ,17-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

For its interior, the new Kia Seltos SX comes with a panoramic 10.25-inch instrument panel integrated with an equally-sized infotainment display that has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The company also boasts the sound mood lamp fitted in the offering.

The new Kia Seltos SX hosts numerous comfort and convenience technologies that include a new panoramic sunroof, dual zone automatic air conditioning, front seat cooling, electronic parking brakes, ambient lighting, keyless entry, and wireless mobile charging.

Powering the 2024 Kia Seltos SX is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct-inject mill that has maximum churn of 138 horsepower and 242 Newton-meters. The vehicle comes with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission with selectable driving modes.

Further, the Kia Seltos SX has six airbags, Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go ability, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist and Parking Distance Warning.

With unique colors such as Pluton Blue and Snow White Pearl with Black Roof, the 2024 Kia Seltos SX is priced at P1.688 million. It is packaged with a five-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
