Kia teases 4th-gen Carnival, set for Q3 launch
MANILA: Kia Motors Corporation has teased the design of the fourth-generation Kia Carnival.
The new Carnival will be on sale in Korea by the third quarter of 2020, with global sales in several Kia markets, including the Philippines, to follow. The auto brand will also reveal new images and more information regarding the fourth-generation Carnival soon.
The new Carnival will be appealing to young families due to its combination of style, versatility, and advancement. Having revolutionary details, a more robust presence, and a tasteful SUV-inspired design, Kia designers referred to it as the “Grand Utility Vehicle.”
The new model has been constructed on the heritage of its predecessors in the mid-sized MPV segment, after notching over two million units in sales globally since the first generation had its debut in 1998.
On its front, the confident new appearance of the Carnival smoothly incorporates state-of-the-art headlamps with the classic “tiger-nose” grille of Kia. The designers of the auto brand have coined this as “symphonic architecture,” with the configuration of the front providing a range of technical and comprehensive features that develop a sense of structural vibe and harmony.
The boldness of the vehicle’s character line passes through the whole length of the car from the side. It connects the rear and front lamps, with its glasshouse featuring a new chrome fin that extends to frame the rear.
