Kia teases new XCeed ahead of European launch on Monday

MANILA: Kia has released the first official sketches of the new XCeed compact crossover prior to its launch next week. The new model will include a sporty GT-line trim level, a sleek exterior, an upgraded interior, and a range of efficient and electrified powertrain options.

Customers have lauded the XCeed, the best-selling member of the Ceed model family that was manufactured and sold in Europe, for its prominent driving position, dynamic handling, and general practicality. The XCeed is expected to become an even more appealing offering in the popular C crossover segment with its wide range of upgrades. The option of a dynamic GT-line trim will be offered for the first time, adding to a slew of stylish aesthetic and interior upgrades. The innovative design cues of a crossover and the dynamic feel of a focused European hatchback will be combined in this new variant.

With a range of highly efficient electric powertrains, including mild-hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options, the new XCeed will help Kia in its transformation into a sustainable mobility solutions provider. The most cutting-edge safety, connectivity, and infotainment technologies will improve driving convenience and pleasure.

The new XCeed will be unveiled on Monday, July 18, in preparation for the start of European sales later this year.
