Lalamove, Bounce Back PH extend help to MSMEs through DSWD
MANILA: As part of its collaboration with Bounce Back Philippines (Bounce Back PH), Lalamove is jumpstarting 2021 with a new #DeliverCare Customer Service Representative (CSR) campaign.
The goal of this initiative is to provide aid to micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) for their businesses to grow this year.
Lalamove is an app-based company that provides same-day, on-demand, as well as advanced order delivery services by enabling its users to be connected with delivery drivers on its web and mobile applications.
Since January 18, both organizations conducted fund-raising activities to provide aid to the beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) community.
Lalamove committed to a donation of P10 for every completed delivery.
Meanwhile, the Bounce Back PH community will mobilize its members and allocate a percentage of sales as its contribution to the fund.
Numerous businesses have undergone a virtual transformation to embrace the new normal. Although a few small businesses were able to adjust, a lot of them still need help for their businesses to continue thriving.
As part of the Deliver Care CSR project, Lalamove took the opportunity to partner with Bounce Back PH and worked closely with the entrepreneurial organization to positively begin 2021 through delivery.
Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Dannah Majarocon explained, "Last year, we heard about the objective of Bounce Back PH and we truly admire their initiative. Entrepreneurs empowering entrepreneurs. In this economic climate, their community exemplifies a modern type of bayanihan and we are excited to extend our help."
The aim of Lalamove to motivate and inspire MSMEs is closely aligned with the goal of Bounce Back PH.
Bounce Back PH founder and entrepreneur Jason Dela Rosa shared, “The Deliver Care campaign is really timely and needed during this time when things are still very uncertain. The reason why Bounce Back PH thrived was because of bayanihan and the unparalleled compassion of Filipinos, so I really believe that our community of MSMEs, some of which are already slowly recovering, will be more than willing to share their blessings to those who are still deeply affected by the crisis. We want to thank Lalamove for supporting MSMEs. Bounce Back PH appreciates this partnership with Lalamove, and we will definitely support this amazing initiative all the way.”
Dela Rosa formed the group as a social media initiative that aims to aid companies from all industries, specifically small and medium-scale enterprises.
To date, there are over 40,000 merchants in the Bounce Back PH group, and various companies are working closely to support each other towards growth.
The joint initiative of Lalamove and Bounce Back PH will continuously explore more avenues to provide mutual support for MSMEs and the entire business environment.
Lalamove has fostered growth through on-demand delivery and technology to continue its initiative in delivering care.
