Philippines only has 15 Mazda MX-5 Anniversary Edition examples.Seen at this year’s Sports Cars For a Cause held at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last Sunday, the roadster’s limited-run version was first shown to the world at the 2024 Mazda Fan Festa held at the Fuji Speedway.
After making its appearance at the Sports Cars for a Cause charity event, the MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is being displayed at the North Court of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati until March 2.

As the name suggests, the MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition was produced to celebrate the nameplate’s 35th anniversary since it was introduced in 1989 at the Chicago Auto Show.
Per Mazda Philippines, the country has been allocated 15 units — with each example priced at P2.49 million.

While it continues to wear that sporty silhouette, the Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition has some notable exterior updates that comes in the form of:
- Three-layer Artisan Red Premium Metallic paintwork (Mazda's fourth Takuminuri special color)
- Tan soft top
- 17-inch bright silver aluminum alloy wheels
- Serialized badge on the driver’s rear fender

Its interior also has some distinct appliques such as the Artisan Red Premium Metallic-colored upper door panels and air-conditioning vents, heated tan Nappa leather seats embossed with exclusive “35th Anniversary” logos, and matching tan carpeting and floor mats.

Similar to the Mazda MX-5 Soft Top offerings, the car’s 35th Anniversary Edition is also fitted with the following amenities:
- 8.8-inch infotainment screen with Mazda Connect, (wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto-ready)
- Nine-speaker Bose sound system
