LTFRB invites transport group for discussions on opening of 10,300 TNVS slots
MANILA: Transport group Laban TNVS have been invited to a dialogue by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to express their concerns regarding the anticipated opening of 10,300 slots for transport network vehicle services.

Laban TNVS stated that they are opposed to providing additional slots because there are colorum or illegal TNVS drivers and also because there are TNVS applications that have not yet been approved.
The current supply of TNVS units, according to Laban TNVS, is enough to meet the demand of commuters, with many drivers lamenting about the lack of passengers.
Laban TNVS instead called for the extension of operating permits.
