The Grecale will be the first model to debut the fully electric Folgore trim in 2023, as part of the brand's previously announced plans for full electrification across the range. The Grecale Folgore is also Maserati's first all-electric SUV.
The new technical specifications, which include the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) multimedia system, the latest infotainment, comfort display, and the head-up display, demonstrate the Grecale's commitment to innovation.
To round off the driving experience, five selectable drive modes — Comfort, GT, Sport, Corsa (Trofeo only), and Off-Road — allow the driver to go from the most user-friendly driving in greatest comfort to the overwhelming emotions of intense speed.
The new Maserati Nettuno engine was first seen in action at last year's Festival of Speed, when the MC20 super sports car made its spectacular debut up the hill in the Supercar Run. This engine is inherited by the Grecale, continuing to signify a new era for Maserati. Festival attendees will get their first glimpse of the Grecale in action at the Batch 6 Hill Climb.
The MC20 will also participate in the Supercar run on the famed 1.16-mile course throughout the weekend.
The MC20 coupe is the Trident brand's first mid-engine two-seater super sports car, with a top speed of over 202mph and the first Maserati with a carbon fiber monocoque, resulting in a total weight of 1500 kg. This combination, along with the powerful F1-derived Nettuno engine, provides an excellent power to weight ratio, resulting in jaw-dropping acceleration and top speed, with a zero-to-62mph time of 2.8 seconds.
The all-new Spyder variant of the coupe, the highly anticipated MC20 Cielo, will also be on display during the festival. The MC20 Cielo was unveiled last May 25 in its hometown of Modena, Italy, so this will be the first chance for UK customers to see it in person.
Both MC20 models will be at the Supercar Paddock throughout the weekend.
