Maserati PH brings in Levante GT Hybrid

MANILA: Maserati's official distributor in the Philippines, Modena Motorsports, has officially launched the Levante GT Hybrid SUV, the brand's first-ever hybrid crossover SUV. Maserati's local electrification initiative began last year with the introduction of the Ghibli Hybrid sedan, and it now continues with the introduction of this Levante variant.

Maserati's first electrified SUV marks a significant advancement in the company's electrification strategy, which began with the Ghibli Hybrid in 2020. “Faster. Greener. Unique," the Levante Hybrid is faster than a diesel, more environmentally friendly than diesel or gasoline, and is distinct in its characteristics.

Maserati is innovative by nature, and with Levante it pursues the philosophy behind its entry into the world of electrification: Aiming at improving performance while staying true to the brand’s values, delivering speed and agility while saving fuel and reinforcing the Trident’s dedication to driving pleasure and luxury. The result is a hybrid SUV that retains the distinctive roar of every Maserati.

 

The Maserati SUV, which has already made an impact in the history of the Brand with its record-breaking figures, now presses ahead into a future in which all new Trident models will be electrified.

The Levante GT Hybrid combines a four-cylinder, two-liter engine with a 48-volt hybrid system to recover energy during deceleration and braking. The hybrid car weighs less than the equivalent six-cylinder engine (both diesel and gasoline), and it has an even better weight distribution because the battery is placed in the rear without compromising load capacity or optimally balancing the masses of the vehicle. All of this is intended to make the Levante GT Hybrid even more agile and enjoyable to drive.

The performance data of the new Levante GT Hybrid, which is only available with all-wheel drive, is impressive, with a maximum power output of 330ps and torque of 450Nm delivered from just 2,250rpm: a top speed of over 240kph and acceleration from standstill to 100kph in six seconds.

The new Maserati Connect program has made the Levante Hybrid smart and connected. Keeping your Maserati connected at all times allows you to keep an eye on its health, and Maserati Connect will notify you when a service is due, improving the customer care experience. Drivers can stay in touch with their car using a Smartphone or Smartwatch and the Maserati Connect App; this is also possible from home using their virtual personal assistant (Amazon Alexa & Google Assist).
