MANILA: In honor of Formula 1's return to Asia, McLaren has unveiled a special livery that will be used for the forthcoming Singapore and Japanese Grand Prix.

As the two organizations strengthened their partnership, McLaren partnered with team partner and cryptocurrency exchange startup OKX to design a custom "Future Mode" livery for the MCL36.
The new livery replaces the car's traditional papaya-dominated color palette with neon pink accents and engine graphics with a cyberpunk theme.
It "represents the emerging of new technology from the region, with a vision to the future influenced by the cityscapes of Singapore and Japan," the team claims.
The new livery will appear on both McLaren vehicles as well as the race suits worn by drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo starting on October 11. It will also be included in the F1 22 video game.
