Mercedes Benz C Class Cabriolet Stepped in the Geneva Motor Show 2016
MANILA: The news of the teaser of Mercedes Benz C Class Cabriolet has just been round the corner, and now the model into buzz has appeared on the real grounds. It is perceived from the teaser sketch that this model has taken an inspiration from the S-Class convertible. Not only S-Class, but it also shows the reflection of its look replicating the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the BMW 4 Series Convertible. The photographs of the teaser has already made considerable noise for itself over the social networking platforms and several other news portals.The teaser of C Class Cabriolet depicted this stud to be adorned with jaunty persona that is facilitated with four seats. The addition of “Cabriolet” in the Mercedes fleet is a fascinating factor for its existing and prospective consumers.
It is important to consider the attributes gifted to the S-Class, which is believed to be replica of this brand new model. The S-Class macho is bestowed with swanky appearance and with a streak of sportiness. The technical specifications highlight two categories of cylinder arrangement, namely the V8 (Petrol engine) and V6 (Diesel engine), with an output of 338 Kw and 190 Kw respectively. The torque measures upto 700 Nm at 1800-3500 rpm and 620 Nm at 1600-2400 Nm respectively. The top speed ranges as 250 kms per hour. Additionally, it has generous boot capacity, which is quantified to be 530L. The alluring points can be listed as its Multi function steering wheel, Pre-safe plus, Burmester surround system, Air balance package and warmth comfort package.
The Audi A3 Cabriolet and BMW 4 Series being counted in the same segment, possesses some worth mentioning points too. The Audi A3 version can attain the top speed of 240 kmph and can accelerate from the speed of 0-100 kmph in the time span of 7.8 seconds. In addition, it can churn the maximum power of 177 bhp with a torque of 250 Nm. It is mated with a 1.8L engine, which has 16V based on TFSI petrol engine. Whereas the BMW Series has the most eye catchy attraction of being a convertible car. Also, it is equipped with the choice of a 2.0L and 3.0L engine, where the prior one is a turbo four cylinder one and the later one is a turbo inline six engine. There is further ahead choice of transmission that is signified by a 6 speed (manual) and 8 speed (automatic) gearbox. Lastly, its top speed is about 155 mph.

It can excel in attaining the power of 172 PS with a torque of 400 Nm. Whereas the Mercedes 250d delivers the power of 207 PS and a torque of 500 Nm.
