Mid-range Honda Civic variant now available, retails for P1.498-M

MANILA: The all-new Honda Civic V Turbo variant is now available,  Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) announced.

The Civic V Turbo CVT Sensing — the middle range variant slotting between the base S and top-spec RS — retails for P1.498 million. 

Like all variants of the 11th-generation Civic, this mid-spec model is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, turbocharged VTEC engine  that produces 178ps and 240Nm of torque.

A Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is the sole transmission option, which is mated to driving modes Econ and Normal.

Another highlight is the Honda Sensing safety suite, available across the Civic range.

The Honda Sensing includes the following safety aids: Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW), Auto High-Beam (AHB), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), and Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS).

To complement the new look, the Civic V gets LED Headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and LED fog lights. For the wheels, the Civic V variant features 17-inch alloys.

The entire rear end has also been redone, having a new pair of LED taillights that elegantly illuminates in the night.

For in-car entertainment, the Civic V Turbo comes with a seven-inch touchscreen display audio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which pipes audio to an-speaker audio system.

Other standard convenience features on the V variant include automatic climate control, rear air vents, and a seven-inch digital display with an analog speedometer. The digital display is customizable, capable of displaying audio or vehicle information, selectable through the steering wheel-mounted controls.

The Civic V can be optioned with Morning Mist Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic exterior paint. Platinum White Pearl is available for an additional P20,000 to the price.  

Until the end of February, interested customers can get the Civic V Turbo for P27,692 per month, based on 20% all-in down payment with a 60-month payment term, HCPI said.
