Tsukui steps up as Isuzu PH’s new chief
He replaces Tetsuya Fujita, who has served as president since 2023

MANILA: Mikio Tsukui has officially stepped up as Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s (IPC) new President.

Mikio Tsukui was introduced as IPC’s new president at the launch of the updated mu-X.Tsukui replaces Tetsuya Fujita, who previously succeeded Noboru Murakami in 2023. The corporation's new leadership turnover also coincided with the launch of the refreshed mu-X sports utility vehicle.
Under Fujita's term, IPC saw numerous milestones, which include an ISO certification for its Quality Management System, multiple dealership openings, the continuation of the company’s numerous social responsibility initiatives, and several commercial vehicle sales milestones.
It was also during the previous chief's stint that IPC launched several updates for its lineup of passenger models.
Further, IPC managed to maintain the top spot in Philippine truck sales for 25 consecutive years.

Additionally, Fujita led the company to successfully organize one of the most extensive iterations of the Isuzu Truck Fest ever staged, which was held last February.
This year’s Truck Fest likewise saw the formal local introduction of the all-new S and E heavy-duty trucks.
Tsukui, on the other hand, is an industry veteran who has been with the Japanese marque since 1998. The executive has previously held posts in various territories around the world.
As IPC’s new leader, Tsukui promises to continue the high quality of after-market service and customer satisfaction the company has provided over the years.
