Mitsubishi to unveil next-gen Strada in July

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors has announced that the all-new Mitsubishi Triton, known locally as Strada, will be launched in July.

Mitsubishi Motors first gave a preview of the all-new Mitsubishi Triton last month at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show, through the XRT concept.

The all-new Mitsubishi Triton will headline the lineup of new cars that Mitsubishi will release this year. The lineup includes the Mitsubishi Colt, a hybrid variant of the Mitsubishi Xpander, a new crossover model, and the previously unveiled Mitsubishi ASX and Mitsubishi Delica Mini.

There is not much information about the all-new Mitsubishi Triton as of writing, however, it is said to have the same platform as the Nissan Navara. Although photos of the all-new Mitsubishi being tested in the Arctic Circle, Europe, and Thailand have appeared online, Mitsubishi has not yet disclosed information on its powertrain.

Since Mitsubishi is concentrating on its growth in Southeast Asia, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton will debut in Thailand and will be rolled out successively in the ASEAN region before it goes on sale in Europe by September.
