Mitsubishi XM Crossover Concept To Be Showcased at PIMS 2016
MANILA: Mitsubishi has been consistently working to gain a competitive market position in the Philippines. Few days back, the manufacturer revealed that it will launch the Outlander PHEV at the upcoming 6th Philippine International Motor Show and now it has confirmed that it will be showcasing the XM Crossover Concept also. The same concept was also showcased at the recently concluded GIIAS 2016 in Indonesia and now the manufacturer is bringing the concept to PIMS. The Mitsubishi XM Crossover Concept has already gained much appreciation in the GIIAS and the upcoming event will further help the company in promoting the latest concept in an effective manner.
As the name suggest, the XM blends crossover functionality with the comfort of an MPV. According to Mitsubishi, the XM Crossover is slightly wider and taller than most of the existing MPVs in the country. Due to better cabin space and ground clearance, the production model of XM Crossover is expected to get an added advantage over its competitors. Looking at the front, the concept has been equipped with a dynamic shield which is paired to sharp and sleek headlights, black grille and big foglights. In the cabin, one will find white interior accented by gray trim pieces and splashes of metal decor. The 3-spoke steering wheel with multimedia control, automatic climate control and a glass roof are some other features that are known to us for now.
It is also expected that the XM Crossover will feature a 1.5-litre petrol engine under the hood but we have to wait till the concept is showcased at Mitsubishi’s booth and details are revealed by the officials. Stay tuned to CarBay to know latest happenings of PIMS 2016.
